What exactly are Naked Soles?

Naked Soles are a flexible sandal conditioned with a clean water-based adhesive. They have been specially designed to simulate walking barefoot while protecting the bottom of your feet. They are not just flat flip flop shapes but have a raised arch to help the sandal adhere to all parts of your foot.

How long does the stick stay sticky?

It depends. At least a season depending on whether you wear them day or night or just occasionally. All you have to do is clean the surface periodically with soap and water; dry, and hey presto, they're as sticky and bondable as when you peeled off the seal. Don't forget to follow the instructions - don't wash them with washing up liquid and remember to store them with the sticky facing out!!

They stick best if you put them on when your feet are clean and dry, lotion and powder free. Stand for a short time to allow them to bond properly. There is a knack to it that you will soon discover. They can last for years depending on how well you look after them.

What happens to my foot when I take them off?

Nothing. The sticky is non-sticky, sticky stuff....if you get the drift. It leaves no residue.

Are you sure they will stay on?

Yes! It does stay on your foot. The sticky stuff is very bondable with the Naked Sole so it becomes more like an extension of your own skin than a piece of footwear – which is why it is so comfortable and hence the name - Naked Sole!

How can I buy some?

More FAQs

What is the Naked Sole made of?

The Naked Sole is a durable, treaded flexible rubber. The top of the sandal is extra cushioned with foam rubber.

Is there anywhere I can't wear them?

The stick is water based so don't go in the sea. If you walk on sand then the sand will stick to the exposed parts of the sandals and you may have to wash hard to get it off. Other than that there are no restrictions.

How do I take them off?

Starting from the outside edge, slowly peel them from your foot.

How do they feel?

At first it feels a bit like stepping on to a very large piece of sellotape, sticky side up. As the stick warms you soon stop noticing them and it is like walking barefoot.

How do I pay?

You can make online payments through Paypal or with a credit card. Simply put the Naked Soles in your shopping basket and you will be directed to a secure checkout through Paypal.com.
